Artist’s Studio – Inspired by Flight
Design 102, Pratt Institute School of Architecture (Spring 2001)
Critic: Lawrence Blough

This first-year design project explores the theme of movement and lightness through an artist’s studio inspired by the flight of a bird. The form and spatial arrangement translate the dynamics of lift, balance, and motion into architecture, creating a workspace that embodies both structure and fluidity.

The mid-term iteration of the studio was sited on the side of a building, bulging off of the brick façade, while the final project was located in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York.
